NE Defense is 5th (?) in the NFL against the run.

Belichek > Shottenheimer

Brady > Rivers

Advantages for SD:

Home field

Much better running game.

Should be a good matchup though.

I find it amusing that my friend who I often argue Manning/Brady with has been calling me to mock Peyton's numbers these playoffs. Especally because he always tells me wins are all that matters and that stats are useless, and Manning has won two in a row now, including one on the road against the best defense in the league.

Anyway, I'm rooting for the Colts from here on out. Go Colts!

I do think the Colts should be rooting for the Patriots for a number of reasons, most importantly playing at home and not having to face LT. However, their defense has looked DAMN good the last two weeks, so we'll see. Bob Sanders has really turned that team around.
