Why didn't the Chargers just kneel and get it over with?
it's too much fun destroying a 14-0 season.
I'd think their main concern would be preventing any injuries to give them a shot at making the playoffs ;)

dunno, but colts fans shouldn't feel down about this. at least they have a lesser chance of getting their starters injured before the playoffs since everyone will be benched.

maybe they'll actually have a chance in the playoffs this season against the Pats (me thinks not though  ).

Thank god the Colts lost. Would have ruined the NFL season for me had they gone undefeated. That being said, I'd be an idiot to say they're not the best team in the NFL this year.

exactly. when diem went down, 3rd quarter freeney came up hobbling

and the hits manning was taking I was like start benching these guys. their goal is superbowl. no really cares about 16-0 and no superbowl.

Today I see it as a test for the colts to come back when your down. good effort though. I was about to quit if they couldn't score a TD by the end of the 3rd.

Their starters will be on the bench next week, what's the point in playing them now?

I believe they still need to win another game or two to clinch home field for all playoff games.

yeah they already clinched. @ 13-1 even if the broncos win the rest of the season and the colts drop everything

Colts have better conference record and better division record. too lazy to look up common games but pretty sure colts have the better record in that tie breaker too

That game's so fake... Colts loss it on purpose so people can get off their back.

No doubt Tony Dungy will rest his star players now.

Tony has already said that he doesn't care about the regular season anymore and will rest his starters.

IMHO, the only team that can stop the Colts (other than Colts themselves by choking) are the Pats who are starting to find their groove again.

Any team that can put that kind of pressure on manning stands a chance at beating the colts.

But you need to get up on them quick and take away the run.

Pats are coming back healthy and recently (last 4 years) have shown to be able to learn from mistakes and adapt to the opponents tactics.

IF their core starters can stay healthy, they can give any of the AFC teams a serious match.

NFC is considered a loss for the Superbowl here at the books AFC(-6) Colts(-11) up until yesterday
