Colour Laser Printer Help

Hello,

I have been having difficulty choosing the best colour laser (+network) printer to purchase from the following list, all of which fall into my budget range. You guys were recommended to me by a friend as being 'in the know' about all things hardware.. so without further ado, here's the list:

Dell 3000CN
Epson C900N
HP 2550LN
Konica 2300DL
Xerox 6100DN

Cheers.

I have a konica 2300DL on my home network and couldn't be happier. It's fast, colors are superb, integrates flawlessly, and is space efficient. For me, it came down to this printer or the HP, and I went w/the konica after seeing the side-by-side comparison at the local CompUsa. The konica colors just seemed richer and more accurate to me.

Good Luck choosing! And welcome to the forums 🙂

id go with the fuji/xerox. we just got these in at work, and for the government offer, beat out konica, HP, and sindoricoh.

when it was time to make the choice, i looked at the spec sheet of soem 4000 series HP printer, and hands down in that price range, the Xerox was the best choice. i hear also from the people that delivered and installed a test printer for us, that it is very good on toner utilization (more pages/toner), and i can definately vouch for the quality of the prints, also.

but let me put it this way, all the BIG, IMPORTANT people in our agency all have that printer right now, while the peons are left with yesteryear's HP's 4050N's and maybe an 8000 series printer for high output areas.

from your list i would definately choose the xerox or what they are know now as fuji/xerox.

Thanks for the replies guys...

So thats one point for the Konica...

One potential point for the Xerox.. although Spikesoldier it may be worth noting this particular Xerox is a re-branded Samsung CLP-500N at a lower price, and probably not the level of the printers at your workplace...

Any other opinions/views?

Cheers
