I frequently see on tv a colored keyboards, though i never been able to see one in real life, mostly in editing rooms on tv (where they edit tv news or programs).
Why they have colored keyboards, is this for learning to type fast?
Where i buy one, how its called?

These colored keyboards have the shortcuts of the editing program printed on the keys so you can use the most used functions quickly without having to remember all possible shortcuts. For example there are custom keyboards for Pro Tools (the de facto standard in music production software) like this one http://www.digidesign.com/inde...langid=100&itemid=4935

It just makes it easier when you go to use certain apps like avid if you can have the red keys for record, green keys for edits, etc.

The best way to learn how to type is to NOT LOOK. If you can type relatively quick and you still look at the keyboard the only improvement will come from not looking.

If you can't type relatively quick while looking, color coded keyboards are only going to add another layer of complication.
