I had my file server Power Supply poop out on me. So, since the warranty is dead I ordered a bigger power supply from www.colorcases.com. The shipping options were UPS or USPS if to a military address. I chose UPS. Then got the option of UPS ground, 3 Day Select or Overnight. It is an emergency but not enough of one to justify paying 3 times the parts price in shipping. I chose UPS 3 Day Select. Skip to today, 3 days later. I got a tracking number for shipment via FedEx. Cool, I thought, they got the part out a little late and upgraded the shipping. Pull up the tracking on FedEx's website and fine it is scheduled to arrive here in a week. wtf!?
Here's my beef. I oredered and paid for UPS 3 day select. Coming from Illinois this part would be here in 3 days, no problem. As of tracking data minutes ago my part has arrived in Memphis Tennessee.... I live in So. Dak. which for those without an atals is the opposite direction from where the part came from.
So, I play email tag with a rep at Colorcases.com and get the big run around about 3 business days, etc. I explain the problem is I ordered UPS 3 Day Select, not FedEx Express Savor, which ships gound.
No help from Customer Service. The last email I got from teh same rep that answered all my email stated he was the manager of the Cust Service dept and there was nothing else they could do for me.
Am I wrong in feeling I was lied to being promised UPS 3 day shipping and getting FedEx ground?
