So how many that are color blind see the world in black and white? Do people like that exist?

Edit: And spare me "Democrats" and "Republicans".

If you're talking literally, what you're thinking of is Monochromacy. It is EXTREMELY rare. Color blindness is kind of a misnomer.

I don't know if I am or not.
Here's a test:

Well I guess I am not color blind at all. Go me!

You should do a study, and see if colorblindness is more prevelant among gay or straight men.

Why?

Federal grant money! It just so happens this test must take place on a cruise ship... for scientific purposes.

Do NOT click on a link to an online color blindness test 😉

Hey...stop warning people. If I got owned by that, other people should too.

I almost crapped in my pants when I did one of those.

I like the way you think.
Also, for complicated scientific purposes, everyone must be in the nude...lol.

I have trouble telling the difference between blue and purple/bright green and bright yellow. It all has to do with the shade.

I'm color deficient according to my doctor. I can see color but have a hard time discerning between close shades. The funny thing is, I can pass the harder part of the color blind test but fail the easier stuff.

Yeah, me too. The other one that got me really bad was the "wolf stalks man" video.

Any tests I've tried say no. although I am really not sure.. perhaps some discrete colors I may see different than others.. (I always wondered about that)

I don't know what you'd categorize it as, but with certain shades I'm horrible. At the optomotrist, I probably miss 1/3rd to a half of the numbers-in-circles.
