Color problem

Hello, when I boot up my laptop the screen is purple. This can be fixed by entering the catalyst control center, going to color, and selecting "defaults". However upon each reboot the problem comes back, and must be fixed each time. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem, and if there is a way to resolve this once and for all.

I am running on a mobiility x1400 with 8.321.0.0 mobility drivers.

Hmm. I don't have a computer with CCC at my disposal, otherwise I'd go look around in it. But barring that, are there any checkboxes or other settings on that tab labelled "Preserve these settings at login?" I know that such checkboxes exist in various places throughout CCC, maybe there is one there.
 
Does anyone know a link where I could get the latest mobility drivers? I can't get them from ATI and Dell provides a version from this past summer...
