color changing candle (activated by fire)

I received the free candle from Maxmillion32 on the 2nd.

Looking back at my emails?

I first replied to the offer at 11:57 pm on the 30th.

Got an email from Maxmillion32 about a half hour later.

I responded in the morning at about 8 Am and sent paypal.

Item was shipped and I got a tracking number that afternoon.

Like ddt99 say?s, these things are better than lava lamps!!!!

The one I got from Maxmillion32 ( www.cameleoncandle.ch) is the small pillar .

The One I bought From www.lunacandle.com was the larger heart shaped one.

The small pillar has a brighter glow to it, but it being a smaller candle that makes sense.

For gift giving, the fancier ones are nice, but for best affect in use, I think a bunch of smaller ones would be better.

I haven?t been home enough to see how long they last, but for the few hours the small pillar has burned, it looks like they last a while.

These things are very cool, girls LOVE them, and I know I am going to be getting more!

Hey guys been busy, I sent an email to everyone who post payment on my paypal account. gabemcg should have received his candle the latest mon the 7th. If for any reason you did not receive you candle be sure to post ASAP..

I just recieved my candle and this thing is AWESOME!, thanks a ton! Anyone who is thinking about getting one (or some) should definitly get them. Think about how cool it would be to have a ton of these strewn arround a hotel suite for valentines day!!

Hey all,

we just added another alternative for shipping on the site. You don't need to use fed ex if you don't want to.

I do not know about tracking alternatives with the USPS method.

I should find out soon.

this candle is great... the light led changes every so often... it seemed corny when i bought it.. but once u get it, its actually a cool lil candle. GET IT FOR YOUR GIRLFRIENDS!!! Happy pre V-DAY!

As far as US patents go, I found these two.

US6537335 Color changing candle 2003-03-25 - registered to a German company.
US6165234 Thermally color-changing candles 2000-12-26 - registered to a man in Ohio.
 
I looked it up, too. It stated that those candles have some sort of Chemical in them???? Max, or lunaman, what do you put in your candles???? I thought it was a chip????😕
 
Heart Shapes are sold out. Sorry. Maybe you would like another candle ?

The chemical ones is not luna. We use an LED/pcb chip do conduct the color changes.

Ordered on Sunday night, delivered on Tuesday morning. Wish I didn't have to wait until the 14th to light one though. Bummer eh? Next time I am in town, I am definitly stopping into the store to browse.

Aye, someplace earlier in this thread LunaMan said that they have a storefront next to Legal Seafood in the Pru... Downtown Boston MA.
 
I got mine yesterday as well. I couldn't wait til the 14 I opened one up to check it out. Definately a coolness factor of 9. 😉

Luna and Cameleon Products uses the same system the only difference is the power to the system. We have one battery per led, Luna product I think have too larger battries to power their three leds..

Good product, but the boxes are kinda ghetto. It screams "made in china" right from the get-go. That's the only downside I've seen thus far.
 
It appears their customer service department is very poor, they will not even respond to an email I sent them on 2-9-05 about a problem with a candle I ordered from them. :disgust:
