suppose i'll have to pass on these. My mother is a candle freak but doesn't go spending much more than around $5 on any "1" candle. I was going to grab one but its going to cost me $20+ for "1" candle! What happened about using cheaper services for shipping such as priority mail?

I don't use fedex or ups for most items. Reason is cause they charge to much to use there services. Priority mail is the best and now since they have flat-rate boxxes, the deals even better. 2-3 day (counting saturday) transit service is usually what I get when I use them. If I HAVE to use a different service then I use ups-ground. I've had problems with fedex-ground and dhl that I try to avoid them.

Your right, the deals better when buying more than 1 candle, but then that means its just that much MORE that I have to come up with. I don't have that much money to blow on a candle or 2. Bummer. Seems like a great gift but I'm afraid that its way more than I can afford.

got my candle yesterday - it's a nice smelling candle that's relaxing to watch change colors. If you're into candles get one of these.

I guess godfatha is # 5 I will get the shipping cost and post it soon

If you look real close, gabemcg was first, univac second, ddt99 third, burningdog fourth, and EF9 fifth. Meaning godfatha is out unless max just feels super nice.

The LED lasts 50 hours. Basically you should get about 50 hours of color changing feature.
The candle itself is powered by 2 lithium batteries that you never need to replace.
To maximize LED life, please keep the candle out of intense light. The sensor gets triggered by the light of the flame. If you shine bright light on the candle (flashlight, etc). The candle might turn on and change colors.
We usually suggest to store it in a darker environment when not in use.
Ahhh ok, I was wondering how they were powered if you had to plug them in or some such lol. Thanks for the info.

IANAL but last time I checked you had to get a patent in the USA as well if you wanted to protect your invention here.
