How often do you wear cologne? I was thinking about this and realize I have been using cologne every day since high school, and wondered if a lot of other guys do this. It basically just became morning routine and I've never really thought about it. I use 1 spay on my undershirt.

How often do you guys wear cologne?

Never do. Used to back in the day, wore Tommy and Nautica all the time. I don't think I have worn any in the last 10 years though.

I used to, but changed over to Johnson's baby powder. Much more pleasant smell for the workplace. I smell like a baby's clean rectum all day.

Does the smell really bother people that much? I don't drown myself in it...like I said in the OP, only 1 spray and then I put a shirt over it, so people can hardly smell it. My wife only notices if I get a new scent, so I know it's noticeable but not overbearing. I know people who bathe in it, and I agree that is pretty nasty.

I guess I'm in the minority here, I thought it was much more common.

I wear it every once in a while. Mostly when going out. I haven't been single in quite a while either. My significant other likes when I wear it, cause I think it makes her think I am actually trying.

yes

there are a couple of guys who work in my building and when they come in my office for something i just cant take it. the smell lingers and i have to leave my office until it dissipates. my question is why do men wear cologne to work? aftershave is different and does not stink up the place.

just last month a new female contractor started working for us, facilities parked her in the cube outside my office and OMFG!! her perfume was so damn strong it was a eye watering.

i toughed it out for 2 weeks and finally told my boss that either somebody talks to her to knock it off or im working from home. well they moved her to a isolated cube on the other side of the building. lol

I enjoy wearing cologne almost every day. I've probably got about 15 bottles and then a shit ton of samples.

OutHouse, the people you describe are undoubtedly applying way too much. We're talking probably 5+ sprays when you only need 2-3. You won't smell that beyond a foot or so from the person and it won't be overpowering even at that. I've been doing it for years and get only compliments.

I'm not a fan of cologne or perfume. Both make my sinuses go nuts. If someone must wear it I prefer the very faint light smells.

PS. Just because you have cologne on doesn't make the BO less smelly. Just smells like BO and cologne.

urr day. females love it and constantly give compliments.

think about it, who wouldn't want to be the guy that smells good, ALL the time?

there's a difference between drowning yourself with it and putting on just enough.

Very rarely.

I never wear cologne to anything work related. About the only time is if I'm going to a smoky bar atmosphere, concert, or something like that.

I occasionally get migraine headaches. They can be triggered by certain foods, wine (especially red wine) and smells. There is a salesman that comes to see me sometimes to try to sell me big heavy yellow toys (excavators) and if I am in a room with him for too long I can feel the migraine coming because of the odour of his cologne.

I have literally never used cologne. If you bathe regularly and use deodorant/anti-perspirant, you should never produce enough of an odor to require cologne. It's basically the hygiene equivalent of Febreze. "I smell like shit, but I can't be bothered to clean, so I'll just cover up the smell of shit with an even stronger odor." It is the smell of pure, unbridled laziness.

LMAO

OK slugger....

Guess you're not enough of a man to even produce much of an odor throughout the day or maybe your scented tampons do the job for you.
