The English one is SO TRUE! OMG! Every college level English course I took had bullsh1t like that in it! THEY ARE LUNATIC INTERPRETATIONS 😛

Dave Barry is correct. The "politics" of college are amazing.

Yes, and getting good grades is about beating the system. To read fast: Read the first and last sentences of every paragraph--you'll get the gest of ANYTHING the book is trying to say--the middle in the paragraph is just filler. Also the MEAT/purpose of the book is in the front and back of the book, so you should read those chapters fully.

Depending on which "ology, etc you study, you'll have to crack the *code*, b/c professors/authors stick to their own "software code" of talking to each other (which legitimizes their bloated salaries for being nerds).

I agree. We have a society course we have to take in our engineering program. While I find the topics interesting, the readings are soo convulted. I don't know why they can't write normally instead of beating around teh bush. I just read the last line in each paragraphs which sums up the entire topic.

I envy those artsies with so much time on their hands.

Good stuff - I can honestly say that most of it is true after having spent 2 semesters at college.
