i am in college and planning to transfer to a uni next fall. normally i should apply for the uni around this time or early in the spring, right?
that university have a Dean scholarship that students will automatically qualify if the admission is accepted. the amount of $ granted by that scholarship is based on the GPA at the college. so, will they take the GPA at the time i submit the transfer application (this fall or early this spring) or at the time i completely transfer into that university (at the end of next summer or by next fall). cuz i can still raise the GPA a bit by the end of the spring or even in the summer (each 0.1 in GPA means a $5000 gap according to that scholarship's scale)
does anyone know how it works? thanks

i tried but they didnt tell anything. they just push around to avoid answering directly something they are not sure...

i jsut want to know how it works usually at other schools. when you apply for transfering, sure they will ask for the GPA at the time. but when you officially get accepted and transfer to the new school, will they ask you to update the newest transcript or something?

find or go to another counselour. i highly doubt that a counselour at your jr college would not be able to answer your questions. Make an apointment if you have to. The situation is different for everyone, so thats why your question can't really be answered he on ATOT imo.

If I were to take a guess, they take a look at your current official GPA at the time of application and if they approve the app, they put you on probation; holding you accountable for keeping and maintaining that GPA untill you start school at teh university.

How'd you even get into college with that incoherent speach you call english? Anyway, to answer your question, you will have to put your GPA on the application, along with an official transcript, when you fill it out and there might possibly be a space for classes you are taking now but haven't yet completed. It's also up to the institution you are transferring to, which classes they will accept because not all of the classes (credits) you've taken may be honored at the new school. Talk to an admissions representative at the college you are transferring to, not one at your school because they won't know anything about the policies at the new school.
