College students: When are you out for summer?

This should be my easiest finals week yet. As far as Engineering goes I've found that finals week gets easier and easier... less emphasis on exams and more emphasis on semester long projects and so on. (Which I much prefer, I think it's idiotic that 40% of your semester grade can ride on 2 hours worth of work)

I started school August 27th-ish. Out for winter break around Dec. 10th, started back up Jan 9th or so.

Pretty much everything you said is exactly same for me, though our Xmas break wasn't as long as yours. We got out the 14th or something and came back the 6th? I'm just guessing

I'm on the quarter system, so my last test is June 10th; get kicked out of housing June 14th, but my apartment lease starts June 1st. Once finals end, I'll just be spending more time working in a biochem lab I'm in.

I really wish they could leave the fluff out of the degree, and let me get into that junk when I actually have a job that pays well. (I'm in college primarily for job training. If I was here for an "education," I'd probably study philosophy and theoretical physics. Not many jobs will pay you to just think about random things though, and I don't know what the pay of a theoretical physicist might be.)
I also took a Theater class to satisfy more GA requirements (6 credits needed). THAT was also a damn waste of time and money. It started to make me feel a little physically ill thinking about how much money each of those classes was costing me. It still does every time I think of how much college is costing.

Last exam is April 29, and it's my last ever college exam. Just got my convocation letter, getting the eff out of there, and not looking back.

May 2nd is my last day, graduation is on May 3rd.

This is actually the last week of class; next week is finals. Heh, it's Wednesday and I haven't went to a single class yet this last week of college. I don't have any finals. Still got a few programming projects to finish up, but otherwise just keep on doing what I've been doing this week.... nothing.

Start work on May 19. :\

Are you two in quarter rather than semester systems? From what I've seen, most schools that use the former start and let out later, while the latter start and let out earlier.

As for my university, classes end next week, with finals the week after. However, being a graduate student, my soul belongs to the department just as much during the summer as it does during the regular school year.

Are you two in quarter rather than semester systems? From what I've seen, most schools that use the former start and let out later, while the latter start and let out earlier.

My fall classes began September 25th and ran for 10 weeks + 1 week of finals. Winter quarter ended March 16th or 17th and spring quarter officially ends (including finals) June 13th.

My classes started August 9th. While some classes at the college go to May 7th, I'll be done by April 30th. Then it's off to Wisconsin in June rather than a summer semester.
