College Students: Take your books to a large lecture?

Do you guys take all your books to your large lectures (lectures that usually require recitations)?

the text book is for you to study from.

They usually do it on the board.. or do power point slides..

I don't take any books to any class- unless I know specifically that we're going to be using that book in class that day. I like just having a notebook and a pen- cuts down on all the crap I would have to carry otherwise.

never... why bother. Though a good softcover book helps sometimes as a good pillow

I NEVER take my books to lecture classes.

I do have one awesome discussion class, though, that I take my books to. It's awesome!

If it's a softcover book that we probably will end up using, maybe, other than that, no.
