I can just see dropping 160 quarters into a vending machine to get a $40 set of cartridges.

Funny... I pictured a machine that would accept larger currency than just quarters.

Yeah the survey sucks, I had to make up values for entries when I have an ink jet printer but I haven't had to buy new ink yet. Besides asking a bunch of random people on the internet isn't a valid way to conduct a survy a much better plan would to go to the student union and ask random students.

Since there is no java script on the survey, I will filter the data and just change the cartridge answer to "null" for answers correlating to question 1 on printer type (laser or inkjet) indicating "no".

done.

sounds like a great idea actually... cause it is a huge PITA when you run out of ink at 10PM and everythings closed.

" Your survey has be recorded. "

That doesn't even make grammatical sense.

Plus if someone came and broke that machine and stole all the cartridges, they could easy make a cool 1/2 grand on eBay.

the idea is nice, but in order to have the variety of cartridges necessary, the upfront expenses is staggering if you are looking at multiple machines

People will steal anything.. even atm machines (that's what insurance is for).

Edit: Plus the liquidity (or lack ther of) of cartridges on ebay at 40 bucks a pop isn't something that sombody who rips of a vending machine is going to take the time capitalize on.

done.

you'd need some foam or something at the bottom of the machine so the cartridges wouldn't get all messed up by the fall.

The key is to not answer the questions about laser printers if you don't have one... DUMBASS
