Put aside your arguments about the situation for a second.

I just finished watching this debate between a Palestinian Chick and an Israelie Guy.

They SUCKED. We RULE them. ATOT Memebers are so far ahead of either one of them in Knowledge and Debating skills its just sad to see who makes it on TV 😉
 
I think being on TV is more difficult than here at ATOT. Some people have a brain meltdown when facing a camera, no matter how knowlegeable they are or not 😉

Is it just me, or have we been witness to a kinder, gentler Texmaster over the past few weeks?

I mean, he buries the hatchet with Elledan, and then reserves a spot in his signature because of Elledan's banishment. A couple of months ago, I wouldn't have thought that was possible.

That isn't to say he doesn't state his beliefs or debate with others. It just seems like now he's more willing to listen to others' points of view and then discuss, rather than jumping into an argument or starting a flame war (intentional or not). I know that personally, at least, I've had a couple of small discussions with Texmaster the past several weeks and they've been much better than before.

This could just be my imagination, but does anyone else agree with me?

That's what I've done for the past couple of days.... self-imposed ban on my Israel-Palestine debating until I get my FRIGGIN MATH HOMEWORK done! aaggghh now I've gotta turn my puter off. I've gotta get this $hit done tonight 🙁

Oh and to keep up the jolly thoughts...

ATOT RULES! And it's good to know that we here can (for the most part... I haven't seen any evidence otherwise... yet) put aside their differences and still have fun together despite what they may say about certain political issues. I bet the Palestinian and Israeli didn't walk out of O'Reilly and discuss their favorite cars or chug a beer together 😛

Whoa. I missed that one. What happened to cause Elledan to be banned?

He seems like a harmless enough irrational dreamer of a peacenik.
Sure his inability to live in reality (like his friends Czar and Moonbeam) is
annoying at times, but the world NEEDS guys like this to balance out
guys like me or we're all screwed!

I also missed it. I had to ask the same question yesterday. Had something to do with his being a bit of a jerk in an otherwise nice Happy Easter thread. The people who told me about it said that they thought his temporary vacation should have ended by now, but I haven't seen him around.
