So it's the end of another glorious quarter at UCLA, and I'm sitting here looking at the review of all this material that I've been learning. The more recent stuff is still kind of vague, but the stuff from the beginning of the quarter seems easy, and still, the stuff from last quarter seem even easier, and the fundamentals from high school calculus seems as easy as 2 + 2 now. I remembered that there was a time when I struggled with all this stuff and didn't do too well on exams because of that, but I know eventually, as I move on, this stuff (like all the stuff that came before) will become a cake walk. But because of my "slow to sink in" learning style, my grades suffer.
So I was wondering if it's just me, or are most people like that. It gives me hope to know others are like me, so that when I go applying for that job in the future, I will know that the interviewer sees my GPA, but understands that just because one has low grades doesn't neccessarily mean that they don't understand the material.
For those here who have done job recruit from college, are you guys aware of this, or do low grades mean a sign of low intelligence? Well, let's see what you guys think.
