Also, being 24 is that too old to go back to 2 years of school.

Not at all, I've noticed that 1/2 my classes are traditional students and the other 1/2 is a little older. there are quite a few older people going back to school with the economy going to shit. I'm 25 going back to school and I don't feel out of place in any of my classes. If you were 50 that may be a valid question but at 24 it's not.
