The Ohio State University, The University of Toledo - wouldn't surprise me if The University of Michigan didn't either as scarce as parking is up there. At UT, there's an off-campus lot where you can park your car, but its not allowed on campus unless it's the weekend. Not that you need to drive to class anyway if you live on campus since it's all in one city block.i didnt know universities didnt allow freshmen to have cars.. can you list a few universities that do so?
At UT, my freshman/sophmore year, we had a KILLER dining plan. For $686 per semester, you got $686 to spend at any dining place on campus. There were places off campus that took it too, so we could choose from Wendy's, BK, Taco Bell, Arby's, Marcos, or any of the cafeterias. I would eat such crap - I gained like 20-40 pounds (which wasn't really a bad thing since I was rail-thin in HS). I dropped 20 pounds within 3 months of moving out of the dorms and cooking for myself.
They switched to a different food company and changed the meal plans I heard. I guess it sucks now - I read in the campus newspaper that a student found a maggot in the food.
The after-effects of eating cafeteria food were not pretty. The one all-you-can eat cafeteria was in the dorms where they put all the international students, so there were rampant rumors that the food was all laced with laxatives so they could digest it.
