College Looks To End Nude Soccer

DECORAH, Iowa -- Luther College is trying to end what has become an unofficial rite of passage for seniors -- the annual nude soccer game.

The game at the Decorah school started in 1997, but it has steadily grown, and officials said it is starting to cause problems.

Spokeswoman Ann Highum said concerns of student safety and complaints of sexual harassment are behind efforts to stop the game.


A task force on Friday is expected to make its final recommendations to the school's president on how to end the game.

wouldnt that give new meaning to:

"the star player got a header in the second half"

EDIT: or perhaps:

"forward passes to center. center passes to midfield midfield shoots past star goalie *insert babes name here*...he scores GOAL!!!!! you know i think the goalie thinks hes kinda cu....yep...OMG larry zoom in. is that....yes thats midfielder *insert your name here (preferably guys, but gals if its your trip...) getting to know the goalie a little better and it looks like both of them....GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!"

I couldn't find anyplace in the article that said whether it was men or women.

I guess Decorah, Iowa is just a wild and crazy town!
 
cool, I live in Illinois but go to college in Iowa via daily commute

Iowa sucks but this kinda has a cool factor I suppose actually😛
