Oh my, is this true ? So lowly Texas A&M held Oklahoma scoreless in the fourth quarter ??

I thought Oklahoma was unstoppable ?

😉

Okla. had their 2nd and 3rd string out there.

I heard they were suiting up fans and bums for the 4th quarter so they could catch a bite to eat before the press conference

Try 4th string and the scout team. Most of the 4th quarter was played by the scout offense with the 2nd string QB running it. In fact the coaches were letting them make up their own plays. Stoop's only orders were "do not score." There were guys out there that didn't even have their name on their uniforms. Pretty funny/sad. I mean this is Texas A&M, not some third tier school for the blind.

I believe it.

Remember A&M beat Baylor by 70 something? and that Oklahoma is playing Baylor? We should watch some other games this weekend.

Have a contest on campus...Who wants to play for the #1 Sooners? Stick a couple of them at wideouts and special teams

Yeah, that game will probably become a blowout in a hurry. I read on another board that one source has the line on the Baylor-OU game at 53.

Go Bears!😛

Line was OU by 50 this morning when I looked at it. Probably went down some because at his press conference yesterday Stoops said his starters probably wouldn't play more than the 1st quarter.

How about this scenario:

Oklahoma starters play the first quarter, and get the score to 20-3. Stoops pulls them. Baylor scores a touchdown in the 2nd and a touchdown in the 3rd. It's now 20-17. Stoops puts the first string back in after the 2nd touchdown, but they aren't able to get a rythem offensively, after not playing for two quarters. Baylor hits a 50 yard field goal to tie. In OT, Baylor hits the game winning field goal.

It could happen...

Only problem is it will be at least 35-0 after the first quarter. I don't see Baylor as being able to score on the Sooners scrubs if A&M couldn't.

You should write for the Powerball lottery system.

It could happen I suppose....but it has about as much chance of happening as flying barking pigs that shoot bees out of their mouth coming out of my ass.

I follow Baylor fairly close as Coach Morriss and staff came over from UK in November of last year. John Goodner, the current DC, also worked as DC under Grant Teaff at Baylor from '82-'92.

Their biggest strength right now is special teams, especially PR and KR. Robert Quiroga, who plays KR/PR and WR is one of the quickest players in the Big 12. He also competes on the track team. Additionally, the Bears have a breakaway TB in Rashad Armstrong. The problem is that Baylor can't put anything together with any consistency, the QB gets rattled very easily and the D is nowhere to be found most of the time.

The huge loss at College Station after the Colorado win just totally destroyed their confidence for the rest of the season. IMO, if OU doesn't score at will on the Bears this Saturday, something is wrong.

I predict at least a 62-7 win by OU.
