OSU has gotten theirs as well. Oregon blowing those two third downs really hurt them.

seriously, "luck" swings both ways

the turnovers that got OSU into a 21-6 hole against Alabama flipped things around in the second half when they got some key INTs for a score or stopping Alabama drives

that being said, it is looking like OSU is playing the better overall game so far, still up 7 with the clearly costlier mistakes

1. Buckeye D has had some great stops.
2. Buckeye offense has been good, but damn if we had JT's accuracy it would be lights out
3. Turnovers, Fuuuuuuuuck
4. Oregon is a great 4th qtr team

I'm cheering for Oregon but it's been a good game all around so far. OSU's deep ball is working out so far and their D is shutting down the Ducks for the most part. Second half should be pretty great.

I do wonder how this game would be if Oregon's 2nd - 5th drives hadn't gone like this...

3rd down dropped pass
3rd down dropped pass
3rd down no call PI (basically exact same defense as Oregon got flagged on in end zone)
4th down shut out at 1 yard line

Still lots of football and we know Oregon can put up points.

yeah, you can do the same thing for both teams every game in the history of forever

for instance, I wonder how the game would be different if OSU didn't hand the ball over with fumbles on two consecutive drives where they were threatening to put points on the board

lots of football left, both teams can score points, both teams can and have fucked up quite a bit thus far
