Lets talk games this year.

*OSU vs Texas
-What can I say, the Offence sucked that game. Zwick should not have played, and troy was nowhere near what he is today. I think if either Troy smith had played the whole game or played the game before that to get some experience with the offence, texas would have lost.
-Look how OSU's secondary shut down Quinn, samardja and co. The only imperfection in the D has also gotten much better. Vice would get torn apart, especially if bobby carpenter was healthy to complete the best linebacker core in the nation

*Fiesta bowl/ND-USC
-617, Most yards put up on Notre Dame in it's history (notre dame had ) vs. 348 by ND
-476 yards put on ND by USC's "#1" offence vs 417 by ND
-this game could have easily, and should have been 47-20. OSU got 2 kickoffs blocked and had a redzone fumble that likely would have gone for a TD. OSU amost never misses kicks, and troy got stripped.
-Tressel outfoxed Charlie Weis. Pete's got nothing. Tressel finally gave up playing tresselball(the most conservative playcalling in history with some of the fastest offensive players in the game) and look what happened, 4 touchdowns of > 55 yards

If they play again.

If they played Cal vs UCLA again I'm sure Cal would win. What does that say? In coin flip situations anything can happen. But play it 1000 times and the better team will win. Just like my pocket 8s will beat your slick suited most of the time, but you only have 1 shot right now. If Texas beat OSU, then calm down. It doesn't mean jack crap if they can win if the two teams play again....

what I mean is right now OSU is the best team in the country, and playing any of these teams 1000 times would win the majority. I'm not saying they would definately win, as OSU is not good with turnovers and the game could go either way.

Nice talking points, but they won't be playing anymore this season.

tOSU will probably end up at #4 in the final poll.

I don't think Texas played their best game against OSU either, but they did enough to get the W at OSU.

EDIT: I reread the OP, and there are even more if this if that scenarios than I thought. It could go either way, but when it comes down to the nut cutting, OSU lost twice.
