I remember that there was a website that students would post reviews about where they lived and how they liked it. Anyone know it?

College apartments? Roof...check, water and electricity...check.
It's all about location. College apartments aren't for 'living' or entertaining, they're for hanging your hat, studying and, partying with other college kids who don't give a damn what your apartment looks like or, what amenities it has as long as there's booze.

theres more to an apartment than just hanging out. nobody is going to show up to your party if its in a shithole neighborhood or there are crack houses down the block.

I question how useful apartment review websites are. The people most likely to post anything are the ones who had a bad experience, and there will certainly be people in every apartment complex that have a bad experience. Sometimes you also have shills who work for the apartment complex post fake positive reviews on these websites to try and boost their complex's rating.
 
apartmentratings.com isn't the one I think. There was one site that was just dedicated for college students...I forget what it was.
