Michigan Tech Engineering
And that's all I'm applying to
Just curious, but why UM and M. Tech for engineering, but no Kettering? Aren't you from Flushing?

Heh, you probably should've waited until ~late March/April to bump this, as most non-early admission people are going to hear back then (like me). Applied to (and of course, waiting for): UC Berk, UCLA, UCSD, Stanford, MIT, Caltech, Princeton, and Harvey-Mudd.

MIT
Check sig. I got accepted into RPI Early Action, and got deferred to Normal Admission for MIT. So right now I am waiting for MIT Normal, Columbia, and Maryland. If I somehow get into MIT, I am going to discuss with my parents whether they will allow me to go or not because RPI has given me $15k a year.
Oh, I know RPI is a great school and will enjoy going there, but if I was given the opportunity to go to MIT, I think I would snag it right up.Originally posted by: miniMUNCH

RPI is great school and you won't lose your hair before graduation (refering to MIT)...

Rightfully so. Stanford has what...a 12% admissions rate? Harvard isn't much higher, etc

I thought Stanford was more like 15, HP around 11%. Anyway, I got into Stanford when I applied a couple of years ago -- but I chose Rice, 'cause it's better for undergrad, 😛....and cheaper.
