<< he's right, for the most part, undergrad is pretty useless...
i learned crap...who knows...since ur doing engy work, maybe you'll learn something...worse case scenario, you'll graduate learning that you don't know anything...how do you know? you don't a job...and you'll return for a masters to pass the time and remain the perpetual student....though it seems like a romantic idea...wanting to learn all the time, you hafta realize how useless you are. >>
I would not really call it useless. Just not what one expects when one enters. Most people who go to really expensive and highly ranked schools have dreams of either learning a lot or earning more than others. Most realized after graduating and going to grad school or getting a job and working with others from other schools realize that most likely they did not get much more while they paided an order of magnitude more for it.
Yeah, I was in the situation of having to stay for a masters. Graduated two years ago with B.S. No job, so stayed another year to get Masters. Got that last Spring when economy was even worse than year before, so no job till now. Waiting for another 9 months for economy to get better and if not so then will likely go back for another B.S. This time at a school that does not cost 36K a year.
Congratulations on getting into college.
