1.5 years ago, got into Drexel, Penn State, Pitt, and Virginia Tech. I chose Virginia Tech, which was my first choice (and last school to send me an acceptance letter)

Oh no... VT!!!! I'm currently a doctoral student there in engineering mechanics. Blacksburg is pretty. middle of nowhere, though. (if you go ten miles in the wrong direction, you expect to see a mentally-retarded chap on the porch of a dilapidated building with a banjo).

Anyhow... to the rest of the posters... good luck! Pick the college you like.... the one that you think is going to make you happiest overall (there's a LARGE blend of things there.... academics, lifestyle, class size, majors....).

I got into NYU Honors - still waiting on everything else (MIT, Columbia etc.)
Going for math & econ double major.

good luck on MIT, when I apply (next year), I _hope_ i get accepted to that school.

Thanks. I applied early and got deferred so I've lost some of my optimism related to MIT but my fingers are still crossed. 😀

UF Honors, only place I applied (I am lazy) applied early action, but sent in my personal statements like 3 months late, guess it didn't matter lol.

WHat shameless pluggers! :disgust:

Don't you know the only place that counts is Hamburger University?

Where else can you learn a trade about franchising that'll make you a multi-millionaire in 10 years?

I got accepted to University of Washington back in December. I was going to apply other places but I figured why bother? That was my first choice anyhow.

I was accepted to the UW 4 years ago when tuition was 70% what it is now 🙂

I applied to McGill last year (got in), although I live in the States (I am Canadian, however).

Oh, well. I chose a top U.S. School instead.

What's your top choice? Waterloo?

I'm Canadian 🙂

3 years ago I got into UCLA, USC, UC Santa Cruz, CSU Chico...a few others. Ended up at Chico, although currently I'm attended Waseda University in Japan.

getting in early into UCLA's engineering program has always been a great feeling 🙂 really takes off half the pressure of getting into a top tier school.

2 springs ago my choices were University of Washington, Puget Sound, Oregon, Oregon State, University of Hawaii. I did not get in to University of Southern California, and University of California - Irvine. I was rejected by Irvine, and I forgot to turn in my app for USC :Q...
