is there anything to worry about if I am using COD while shipping to this buyer? I tried to look online but I all I was able to find is information about what it is. What I'm looking to find out is, is there any way I can get scammed on this?

From what it seems, most likely not, but its better to be safe than sorry. Thank you for your input guys. Much appreciated as always :)

cliffs: how safe is using COD if im sending out a package? any chance of me getting scammed?

unclifftified:
BUYER:
Hey,
Will you ship COD .? if so i
ll pay the $150+SH+COD charges to zip 28054

ME:
if you dont mind me asking, why are you looking for it to be shipped COD?

BUYER
well it keeps you and me both safe i don't have to worry about buying an empty box and you don't have to worry about getting paid for it.... LOL it is a little safer for both of us i guess because i have been burned on out of state sales before not from this site but from ebay even i brought a couple of imacs last summer and when they came in they where in pieces i mean they had been taken apart before i got them. If you don't want to do COD it is ok after all like i always tell people it don't eat or drink a thing sitting in the floor..... LOL

COD's i believe are pretty safe, i have used them before. just quickly inspect the product before paying.

im actually the one that's sending the product. what if he doesn't accept the package, who pays for it then for it to be returned back to me?

bump
i was hoping i could get some more reponses. in case somebody knows of a new scam going around with CODs or something.
i just find it somewhat odd that even with paypal, bidpay, money order, etc the buyer decided to go with this.
again, thank you for your input guys.

COD is quite safe. If the person doesn't have the cash then they won't deliver it to them. The US Postal inspector would go after them hardcore if they tried any mail fraud via this route.
