This is not to minimize the tragedy that happened in any way, but that has been discussed a lot, and this is a little change of pace. Is anyone else upset that they have delayed the release of Collateral Damage with Arnold Schwarzenegger. My best friend and I go to every Arnold movie, and we had plans to drive about 90 miles to see Collateral Damage in an awesome new Stadium theater that was built and also hit a casino near the new theater. Sort of a day trip. Now those plans are off because they canceled the movie release.
I think this movie may be kinda theraputic for the nation, the terrorists are really bad guys, but Arnold kicks their ass, and Arnold kicking terrorists ass is something people could root for and cheer behind. The movie does have a scene with a skyscraper being destroyed by a bomb, but after seeing the real thing on TV a million times, I think people could handle a fake CGI explosion.
I have seen every Arnold movie in the theater since The Running Man, and I personally would love to see Arnold mow down some terrorists with machine guns, and smash their skulls in with his fists.
