Collard greens cooked with some hamhocks is good stuff.

They're also good mixed with potatoes, great northern beans and corn. Looks like ass but tastes great.

Collard greens are great! You probably didn't put enough hot sauce on them! :)

Blaphemy. Cooked down with a couple hame hocks/ salt and pepper then topped with a little vinegar or hot sauce they are yummy. Almost as good as poke salad.

They are easy to screw up though.......

The nasty ones are turnip greens.

Son, you come on over, I'll cook us up some greens, fried chik'n, biscuits, corn bread, iced tea and sweet potato pie...

Look, yankees, you've got to cook the fvck out of greens before they're edible. It ain't pretty, it ain't good for you but if you just sautee them in a little olive oil you'll be crapping leaves for two days.

Cook them suckers down in bacon grease and onions or stew them up with ham hocks or salt pork. That's the only way to do it.

What time is supper? I'll bring the RC and Moonpies. :D
