Hey I would never have thought that myself until I saw how Coldplay totally embarrassed themselves at the Grammy's. To say they sucked there would be a compliment. They make mundane music merchants like DMB and that drool mind numbing dipsh!t John Mayer sound good. Only some pansy assed Fratboy with no taste in music would say Coldplay was good.

I think Oasis is much better. I don't care for Coldplay.

I am of the totally opposite opinion 😛

Coldplay - Parachutes (second last album) is awesome
Coldplay - Rush of blood to the head ( last album) is IMO even better.

Bother are wicked buys. In the meantime download Clocks, which is my favorite song from their new album though in truth all songs from it are awesome. Download also Parachutes (the song), and Everything Not Lost.

In fact just get the entirety of each album.

Ignore the Coldplay haters; they're just annoyed that coldplay is on the radio and not 50 cent or avril lavigne!

I think you have reduced Radiohead to "Kid A". They do have other very good albums besides that, which are completely different in style. The Bends is pretty good, and has no electronica going on. Based on their material for their new album played at live shows this past year, I would say it would be yet another album that does NOT introduce dated electronic music to rock fans.

It's not that I don't like Coldplay, its just they are so mediocre. I must admit that they are excellent as far as mainstream goes, and to see bands like Coldplay and Radiohead and even little Travis (which I like better than Coldplay and Radiohead if we are just comparing British pseudo art-pop type music here) on MTV brings a smile to my face. But there is so much better stuff out there that will put all of them to shame. While great for the mainstream, in the end they are only so-so.

Please enlighten us on what you consider good bands to be? Although I know its much easier to not state an opinion and just flame other people's opinions. You've been doing that so well throughout this thread. Therefore if you actually did stick your neck out and say bands you like, you may face a "Red Dawn" clone yelling down at your from Mount High with nothing more then "you are a moron for your opinion."

And one more thing, calling someone a boring nerd while you share near the same average post count daily is quite amusing...makes your rips so much more powerful don't you know.
