Is a text editor good enough for ColdFusion or is there a good ide to develop CF on? What do you guys use? Thanks

You're aware of ColdFusion Studio right ? It became Homesite+ and then Dreamweaver MX. Any one of those 3 will support CF tags.

Of course you can do any development in Notepad but it'll be 10x slower if you're doing anything beyond basic stuff. If you're going for free, at least use something like 1st Page 2000 which is similar to Homesite.

HTMLKit is an HTML editor that supports a bunch of different plugins. You might want to check that one out.
