<< I'm sorry but I don't see the point in paying for a service that is dependent on it's members. If people stopped posting deals then this forum would be worthless >>

Wow. I have a 3Mb pipe up and down and last night a page timed out each time I tried it. The page I was trying to load is one that will allow me to post a deal for the others on the site.
I've already got the deal! Just wanted to share with others who have shared with me in the past. Today it's like I'm on a 56K. This is too much. I Think I'll just use the $30.00 to pay to my ISP and start checking out some other sites.

I'd agree, only because since there is revenue from those ads all around the page, I don't feel any money is justified to read a forum.

There are lots others out there and they are free. Time to find em.

If you want to make a semi-educated comparison between Hot Deals forums, you might try subscribing to my newsletter. I grab the new posts every hour (actually, only 15 times per day) and email them out to everyone subscribed to my list.

It's easy to see which posts get posted on which forums first, and then get crossposted later in the day. The service is free and run through Yahoogroups, which is consistent in getting the emails out on time about 80% of the time.

dan ;)

PS. It's kind of ironic that a Hot Deals forums is charging for faster access. Where's the Hot Deal in that?
