Good news my Xmas present (more memory) arrived one day early!
Bad news it is 10 degrees outside today and I won’t be home until 9PM.
Should be worried about the cold damaging it?

No, not at all. Just let it warm up before putting it in the computer so there isn't condensation moisture on it, and if your environment is low humidity (or arguably any time), use ESD protection.

I got yesterday SO-Dimm 8GB module.

Traveled few days in Temp round 15-22F.

I took it out of the box, let it sit in room temprature (72F) for an hour, then insert it into a Laptop and it is working well.

Be more worried about static during winter, than the cold, honestly.

I mean, you could just pop them into the microwave for 5 seconds to warm them up...

...I KID, I KID!

This!

HDDs, monitors, RAM, and to some extent, SSDs, basically, anything that might be affected by condensation, let it sit at room temp for an hour or two, before installation, you should be good.
