ok, the girl im seeing now had an outbreak of cold sores for the first time, and weve been dating for like 3 months. Ive never had a cold sore in my life, and dont ever want one, so the idea came across that i should possibly break it off with her. Some people i tell this too agree with me, most think im retarted. i like her a lot, but id almost rather not have a virus for life...what to do?
 
Don't kiss her when she has a visible cold sore, and don't be so shallow, if you like the girl stay with her.

But more importantly, PICS??
 
...i read that you can get them even when they're not visable! thats my main concern... and shes pretty hot, but i dont have any pics available, just formated.
 
stay with here. If you require your gf not to have a cold sore you are narrowing your pool of girls by a very very large amount...isnt like 75 percent of people have cold sores?

i get cold sores. maybe once every 2-3 years i might get one. i just don't kiss anyone or share cups/utensils during that time. i am willing to bet that no one has ever got a cold sore because of me.

look up info on the net. you most likely carry the virus that causes cold sores and are just one of the lucky people who actually don't break out. something like over 85 percent of adults are infected with herpes simplex 1 and some never show that they've been exposed.

get yourself educated please.

Havn't you seen that commercial with the guy and the girl, and one of em has herpes and the other doesn't and they make this big thing about how you don't have to get it blah blah blah

Are you really that retarded and shallow? It's not like it's some kind of life threatening diease. Most people who have it goes 2-3 years between outbreaks. Not that big of a deal.

yea... and? most people have it. Most people don't break out as well. In fact I doubt most people that do break out break out more than once a year... atleast for anybody I know.
