Cold shower?

Do you take cold showers?

  • You bet! I love how it wakes me up in the morning

  • WTF?!?! Why would I torture myself with a cold shower?

  • Maybe once in a while when my love life turns out poorly...

In the last few months, I have discovered the invigorating feeling of taking a cold shower in the morning when I wake up.

Anyone else in ATOT take cold showers out of choice?
 
i was forced to take cold showers for 3 months 2 years ago when the heating system in our house shat all over itself and had to be replaced. not cool. COLD like a garden hose it woudl make my teeth chatter it was so cold


NEVER AGAIN - good god that is a miserable expirence (sept - nov) no idea why anyone would ever take a cold shower willingly

in the summer when its hot ill take a normal hot shower and gradually turn it down untill its COOL before i get out but its never cold
 
in the winter i take "warm" showers my ex would complain that they are col. In the summer i will take it as cold as i can.

I normally start the shower at 3/4 of the way to fully cold and then move it down to fully cold a few min in. Its funny... once my body adjusts to the shock of the cold, I actually find myself trying to turn it colder to get that shock feeling again...


Maybe I am just insane?

I won't do fully cold no matter how many minutes I'm in, but I do make it cooler and cooler due to what you described.
 
Yeah I can't do cold shower. I run everymorning and am on medication that causes me to sweat really bad when I work out and even then I can't take a cold shower.

It's a mental thing, I just feel like I'm not getting as clean if I take a cold shower.
 
Do not like cold showers. Do however like cold, crisp mornings where I can sit out on the deck and enjoy a hot cup of coffee. That's refreshing to me.
 
When I take cold shower, it gives me the sense of drowning. So, no I don't do it often unless I feel suicidal.
 
Taking long hot showers every day is my one truly wasteful indulgence. I know it wastes water, but i dont care. i love it. no way i would take a cold shower on purpose, although sometimes if the water is really hot when i shower i might turn it to a little cool (definitely not cold)30 seconds or so right before i get out.
 
Yeah, but only in hot climates. Stayed in a cheap hotels in Thailand (like US$8 per night) that had no hot water option, and I didn't mind at all.

Even in Taiwan this summer, I only took cold showers.
 
How do you take a shower in the morning? 😵

At night, before I hit the bad.

2 reasons:
- nice to be clean before intimacy
- clean bed sheets + clean body = win
