i thought it was real but then if i'm a cat and im freezing to death i would maintain a fetal position, not a walking stance.
 
it would have been lying on its left side..someone just stood it up, notice how the ice is flat all along the left side of its body

I hope it's fake, but cats will freeze to death in cold weather.

The part that seems fake is that the cat would have to have jumped in water that froze immediatley, and cats typically do not like water.
 
Looks real to me. I don't think the cat froze to death, at least not as the total cause. It probably was struck by a car and then froze in the gutter, so you see all the ice and leaves stuck to its one side.
