Cold Heat Soldering Tool

I saw this soldering tool that looked really cool on TV. It instantly heats up when it touches metal but cools down right away so you can use the tip to touch your skin and not burn yourself. Supposedly you can also carry it in your pocket and not have to worry about anything.

Cold Heat Soldering Tool

Anyone have this tool or would anyone like to comment about it? I'm a bit skeptical about how quickly it can heat up and cool down.

I'm wondering if the thing is smart enough that it won't instantly start heating up the moment it touches something else other than metal.
