Fuck yeah, man! Loveland opened today (earliest in 40 years), and A-basin is opening Friday (earliest ever).

Ski season is already upon us! Sadly, I don't have the $$$ for a season pass.

looks like it might warm up a bit on friday, which will be nice... I'm going to have like a 20 block walk from the subway to this concert in NYC friday night, but I don't want to bring a jacket because I'm sure it's going to be hot as hell inside the venue.

Summer was brutal this year because my AC went out. I'm SO glad I spent a lot of care when I chose my computer build. I made sure it could handle heat, and it paid off. Even when playing 3D games for hours when it was 100F in my living room, my temps were normal.

I love autumn, especially when it's windy. Makes me want to walk across the country.

We've been experiencing something of a cold front. We went from 100+ weekend befre last to the mid 70's by last Wednesday...and that's about where it sits. Lows have been in the mid-40's! <BRRRRRRRRR>! Supposed to get some rain next week.
I actually prefer this weather to the H-O-T weather that's normal here in NorCal. It's not unusual to have highs around 100 clear into mid-October or later.
