I need some help with market research for a school project.
We are trying to find out if other people have the same problem with food becoming cold while eating in restaurants and if this bothers you.

I'm referring to something like a steakhouse, or TGI friday type places. So things like burgers, fries, baked potatoes and steak.

Thank You

All food warmers I've seen in restaurants had serious side effects. I'd rather just see the food served piping hot and if I take too long to eat it, then it is my fault.

no, no cold food.
no, it does not get cold
reason: they serve on hot-ward plates which keeps it nice an toasty

What are hot-ward plates, I've never heard of them?

sorry, "hot-warm" as in hot to warm plates. they heat the plates under a heat lamp before putting the food on them. I'm typing at an angle so my letters are often off :p

sometimes it's cold.. usually it's hot when it gets to me.. sometimes it cools off, but usually only because i take too long to eat it.. if it's hot when it gets to me, and it's cold by the time i stop eating, then it's my fault

Usually my food remains warm/hot all through the meal. But sometimes when I'm eating at home I'll be slow and my food will get rather cold.

There are a few times though at places like Friday's where my steak might get a little cold if I'm in an interesting conversation and I start eating more of the sides rather than take the time to cut and eat and chew the steak. Though all in all I would say it's not THAT big of a deal to me. Say Restaraunt A had plate warmers and Restaraunt B didn't, I still wouldn't care which one I went to.
