My first hot deal.

You can get it for couple of bux cheaper at BG micro, but if you factor in shipping for both sites, it's about the same. Plus this way, your inverter will be heat-shrink wrapped.

Just plug it into a available 12v 4pin out.

Cooler Guys

EDIT: price jumped up to 30 bux. That was fast.

not bad at all. the site doesn't say, nor can you tell from the pics, if they are sealed in protective plastic or not. If so, i might buy a few as it saves the legwork for about the same price.

I had the same concern about the cover. Know where to a decent cover seperately for a cheap price?

Has anyone bought from this place before? Looks like the wires are coming off both ends, can anyone confirm this?

I dunno why you couldn't use it in a car... it probably takes 12 volts like a car supplies. Just be aware that depending on where you want to mount it, some counties and locals (and I think state) have laws against putting it like under the car. So check it out first.

Yes, there are wires coming out of it, but thats what cathodes are. It's connected to a 4 pin molex in the end so you dont need any soldering. You can use it in cars but make sure you know how to wire it up.

2cooltek has them for $22 before shipping.
12 inch ultra bright cold cathode tubes encased in an acrylic tube with sealed ends. Includes adhesive pads and zip-ties for mounting anywhere in your case. Heatshrink covered inverter for safety. Male and female Molex connector for 12v power. Round black rocker switch with template for drilling mounting hole. All leads to switches are 100% professionally manufactured. This kit is completely assembled and ready to plug and play.

My shipping was $5.95 and it arrived very fast. I've ordered here a few times. It's coo/, they even take Paypal.

Ok I swear I don't know why people buy pre-done mod supplies. If you are a true case modder then you do your own soldering and wiring yourself.

BG Micro

Has the tubes in both 12in and 4in and power inverters total cost around 15-16 per set. Of course it isn't all nice and you have to solder your own 4 pin power connector, and switch if you want. Yes it can be used on a car I've sucessfully wired 10 red ones under a friends jeep.

putting you own connector on isn't hard folks.... bgmicro is the way to go: $22 shipped? i mean come on!

it makes me sick to see all these pre-modded case and case mod crap. if you can't do it yourself, then you shouldn't have it....
