Cold Cathode

my brand new cold cathode light is WEAK! the light doesn't light up the whole light bulb. its like it ain't got enuff power to completely light up. does the cold cathodes need their own 4-pin molex connector?? is it a power hungry whore??? right now i have it going to 2 80mm fans b4 it goes to the cathodes so it may be that it ain't got nuff juice.

are you using an inverter (<-- thinks you need to in order to use a cold cat but i r st00pid)

assuming the case in your sig has the cold cat, try powering the cold cat w/ the fans off to see if it works, if it still doesn't, maybe you just recieved a lemon?
