cold cathode light inverter question

Do cold cathode lights use standard voltages/amp drawings? I have a cold cathode light with a blown inverter so I bought another that is slightly different (same manufacturer, the light itself looks the same but different color tone) so am I safe to plug the other one + that one in the same inverter? To be specific, they are sunbeam lights. Both blue, but the newer one is a different shade and the inverter looks different then the old one, but other then that I can't see why the specs would be different, but thought I would check with people who may play with these more then I do. Basically I want to hear "I tried it and its fine" or "I tried it and blew up my house so dont try it at home" 😀 I'm hoping for the first response. lol
