Coke Zero

Coke Zero!!?!? Ive seen that stuff... where is the world coming to?!? WE NE OUR SUGAR.... ALL 80 grams of it!! (I am drinking a Mellow Yellow right now)

I tried it yesterday. I didn't really like it, the sweetness tasted artificial. It's not as bad as Diet Coke, though.

I don't understand the difference between Zero and Regular Diet Coke. I switched to DC with Splenda. Prefer that flavor now.

3 months ago I would've LOVED this drink. To me, it has the sweetness of regular Coke w/o the calories.

Diet Coke & DC w/ Splenda each have "their own taste" to them, which now that I've FORCED myself to convert to, I actually prefer. Coke Zero now tastes "too sweet" to me.

I can drink either, but prefer Zero as it tastes more similar to the real Coke compared to Diet Coke. There are days when I enjoy Diet Coke, but DC seems too sweet to me now that I've had Zero.

Coke although a decent mixer seems toxic to me ... when the ingredients are: Carbonated water, Sugar/Glucose-Fructose, Caramel Coloring, Phosphoric Acid, 'Natural Flavors' (whatever the hell that means) and Caffeine, it just can't be good for you. What are 'Natural Flavors' anyways? Oh and phosphoric acid "Most of the acid (about 80%) is used in the production of agricultural fertilizers, with the remainder being used for detergent additives (about 10%), cleaners, insecticide production, and cattle feed additives". Does that sound like something we should be ingesting?

I can't believe how many variants of Coke are on the market.

Coke
Diet Coke
Caffeine-free Coke
Caffeine-free Diet Coke
Cherry Coke
Diet Cherry Coke
Coke C2
Coke with lime
Diet Coke with lime
Diet Coke with lemon
Vanilla Coke
Diet Vanilla Coke
Coke Zero

Since you quoted the first link you found in Google, you should have read the article down a bit further:

Phosphoric acid is used primarily in the manufacture of fertilizers, detergents, and pharmaceuticals. In the steel industry, it is used to clean and rust-proof the product. It is also used as a flavoring agent in carbonated beverages (read the ingredients list on a can of Coca-Cola), beer, jams and jellies, and cheeses. In foods, phosphoric acid provides a tart, acidic flavor.

So, according to your logic, you don't want to drink beer or eat cheese either 🙂
