Coke Zero - 2 for $1 @ Target

It tastes like the Coca-Cola Lite from Mexico to me: it's a bit less sweet than Diet Coke. It's the only Coca-Cola product I really like, though that could easily just be nostalgia 🙂
 
I tried it at work which I feel it taste the same as the regular diet Coke which I hate the diet coke taste. Whats up with the name for Coke and Pepsi these day.

Coke 2 - Pepsi One - Coke Zero - what is next ...... PEPSI -1.......

tasted about like diet coke to me, too.
 
I don't really think it tastes like Diet Coke at all, much more sweeter. Saw a little bit in Newsweek about all the new diet colas - Coke Zero was rated best tasting. It also said the reformulated Diet Coke tasted like soap!!

50 cents worth a try!!
 
I don't really like it...it almost has a lemon like taste to it...I dunno...its not to great. I like Diet Coke and regular Coke.. There are to many cokes out now...

Diet Coke, Diet Coke w/ Splenda (sucks), Coke Zero (sucks), Coke, Coke C2 (its OK), Coke w/ Lemon, Coke with Lime, Diet Coke with Lemon, Diet Coke with lime....

And i'm sure there are many more :-/

Nope, it still has nutraslop in it.

I tried a can for free yesterday when coke was giving them out at a local parade. It doesn't have as much of the nutraslop taste of Diet Coke but doesn't have "the burn" that Coke drinkers associate with real Coke. Still better than the Cierra Mist that the Pepsi truck was giving out.

Yeah, speaking of that, I like the sometimes hard-to-find small glass bottles of coke. Nothing like it! I know it's the same as the crap in the can but those little bottles are the only Coke I ever regularly drink.
Oh, and I tried the Coke Zero and it was just that......zero! :thumbsdown:
 
Oh I love those glass bottles too!!!! My ex-gf once surprised me with a 6 pack of 'em. 😀 She was greatfully rewarded that night 😉

Doesn't take much to catch my eye. 😛

Its designed to taste like Coke classic -- and when cold, it does a fairly good job. Its sweeter than diet Coke and has a richer carmel taste like Coke classic.

From someone who HAS to drink diet drinks, my rankings in order:

1. DC
2. DC Zero
3. DC Vanilla
4. DC Cherry
5. DC Lime (yuck IMO)
6. DC w/splenda (that is serious crap)

Think that covers it all for the DC stuff. Not a Pepsi fan at all....the only once that I can even stand is Pepsi One....and that would be one glass/can of it. I would rate vanilla above zero, but I cannot stomach drinking that much of it. The splenda stuff is like drinking the water and getting beaver fever. (see who remembers that line from a cartoon)

"Giardiasis, often called "beaver fever", is a stomach infection that you can get from drinking contaminated water, or from close personal contact with someone else who has it. Symptoms can include diarrhea, stomach cramps, nausea (feeling sick) and/or throwing up, weight loss, and feeling tired. These symptoms can last from one to three weeks."
I'd think that about covers the splenda stuff! :laugh:

I guess I am in the minority as I really like Coke Zero. I think it tastes better than Diet Coke, though Diet Coke w/Lime is a touch better than Zero.
