Coke Can: 1 - Me: 0 (I got owned)

Last night, I wanted to drink something but had nothing cold. So I put a coke can in the freezer to take it out in an hour. Guess what? I forgot and today I remembered about it. Well, at first, I was scared to open the freezer door because I didn't wanna see all the mess I will have to clean up. When I opened it up, OMG, it was everywhere. Coke coke coke! All on my frozen food, ice, ice cream and freezer panels It took me forever to clean that up And some of it is still there What to do what to do?

That happened to me. I had to remove everything from the freezer, defrost it, and scrape down the sides. Then I used bleach water to remove to Coke. It took about 2 hours.

well, personally, i left soda cans in the freezer, but they've never popped for me.....wierd...

in fact..this is the first time i heard of a soda can popping inside of a freezer...

how does the can look like afterwards?

I learned my lesson, If I put a coke in the freezer I put it in a zip lock bag just in case.

My roommate sophomore year left his popped coke and the mess inside the freeze for half a year, good thing I never used it. But I don't think he had much trouble cleaning it at the year's end

The funny part about this is putting a canned drink in the freezer is a very slow way to get it cold. The fastest way? Crab a large bowl or small bucket, put the can in it, fill it up with ice, then fill it with cold water. Make sure the can is completely submerged in the water.

No danger of it exploding, and your coke will get cold MUCH faster.
