Today I purchased a 34oz Thermos so I could make my own at home and bring it to work to drink. The cost of Dunkin Donuts is slowly adding up. I was looking for awhile for a big enough container, and I think 34oz should cover it.

How about an option for my work provides it for free...

I drink about 2 12oz cups a day at work and usually none when I am at home.

I used to grab a coffee at the gas station and bring it to work but I've been hitting my snooze button too many damn times now so I don't have the time to stop. When I did get one it was like $0.89 I think.

When I was working, I'd take t full thermos' to work DAILY, plus drink a couple of cups getting ready, and take a couple of cups for the drive. Once I got to work, the coffee pot was NEVER empty...
Nowdays, I drink 2-3 pots daily, with a little help from my wife. (she drinks 2-3 cups MAX)
I don't drink it as strong as I used to either. Don't need the "rocket-fuel" anymore.
/me LOVES coffee...

Flawed poll. We finally got excellent coffee service at work, so now I drink 3-5 cups/day, all at work and pay $0.

Free coffee at the office. It's crappy, but I have grown accustomed to it. It's nothing a lot of sugar and creme won't fix.

I added work coffee to the list, I forgot that places do that. I usually don't drink any at home, so it'll be weird to have the coffee maker going off every morning. The only use it gets now is when I have company over. I gave it up for 2 or 3 months when I changed jobs and didn't notice any side effects, so I'm drinking it again (I like the taste of it.)

I don;t drink it at work, only at home. Sometimes I make a pot, sometimes I get an 84 cent refill at Sheetz in my Sheetz coffee cup.

It's a sad, sad world. I worked at Sheetz (third shift no less) after I graduated high school and I never had a cup of coffee there. All of the drinks were free for employees too. I lived on the Mt. Dew shlushies. I miss those days! That was probably the best job I've ever had. I guess it wouldn't pay the bills quite like the post college jobs do though.

Free work coffee, it's not too bad, just a little weak. 3-6 cups per day during the week.
Weekends, I make my own coffee and drink 3-8 cups (not every day).

I just ordered the Thermos this morning (I couldn't find one I liked in any local store) and I'm on my second 20 oz cup for the day (normally it's a 24oz DD for me.) I kind of miss the coffee at IBM, I swear the cafe added Vivarin to it.

I don't make coffee at home... mostly because I have one of those single cup machine and was never able to figure out how to use it.

if anything, I pick up a cup from dunkin donuts on my way to work or on my way home and drink it once I arrive at my destination, giving it time to cool off a bit. there's a mailbox right next to my dunkin' donuts, so it's usually determined by whether or not I have netflix movies to drop off.

large coffee, no milk, tons of sugar ftw.

I can feel this cup kicking in. I wonder how it became okay to drink coffee at work but not beer.

A double espresso when I wake up. Sometimes with a bit of milk, sometimes with a big of sugar and if I don't feel lazy I make it into a cappuccino.

I work with a guy who's coffee mug fits about 1/2 to 2/3 of the coffee pot. How much does a typical coffee pot hold?

<-- doesn't drink coffee

I put down that I drink 6 - 8oz cups a day, but now that I think about it, that can't be right. I drink two mugs of coffee a day, but each mug can't be more than 12 oz. What confuses me is that I fill my coffee pot up to what is supposed to be 6 cups, and that will fill my mug twice with very little coffee left in the coffee pot. What do the numbers on the side of the coffee pot stand for?

Coffee can raise productivity... beer, probably not so much. Unless you work at a urine production factory, then maybe.

Fix the poll.

I think we both failed.

Excuse me, I happened to be passing, and I thought you might like some coffee.
Oh, that's very nice of you, thank you.
Cream?
No, thank you, I take it black, like my men.

I think the actual coffee maker cups are 6 oz each, which never made sense to me. I found out the hard way when I thought I was being a genius for using the coffee pot to measure out 8 cups of water for something and it didn't seem like enough.
