sometimes if you go to a high end coffe shop or watch shows on TV, you get the coffe makers who top their coffee with the white stuff and form some kind of a shape(heart, leaf, etc etc).

what is that white stuff they put on there? is it just milk? thick milk?

i am a big fan of latte art, I tried once but you need a good espresso machine that can properly steam and froth the milk to get good microbubbles, and having whole milk helps too.
