Coffee In the Morning

Now that I have to get up so early in the damn morning I feel like I may actually need to start drinking coffee. I am still in college..still get the little sleep.

I really don't like the taste of coffee.

What can I do to make it taste better. I try adding sugar and creme but it doesn't seem to do much and sometimes makes it taste nastier.

I really don't drink any hot drinks so maybe Iced coffee would be good but there is no Iced coffee at work..

Suggestions?

Get instant cappuccino mix or something, it won't taste much like coffee, and it'll be a god awful cappuccino, but it should still taste decent and have caffeine.

I am reading an article about brewing coffee the night before and then putting it in the refrigerator. If I had a coffee machine I would all over that.

Just mix it with ice to cool it and then down it as soon as possible. Or poor it in a big cup and mix it with milk 50/50 (<--------also a great morning laxative to get things going ;))

Eventually you will get used to it. After doing that as a teenager I now love Colombian coffee, black of course.

I started with the chocolate-sugar-coffee junk drinks, it didn't take long to develop a taste for 'traditional' coffee.

forgot about that

just add chocolate and a bunch of creamer and most any crappy coffee will become decent.

Try a double double. Best mix for coffee.
that has no meaning to anybody outside of canada.
Sure it means something! He's suggesting that we head over to In'n'Out and get that delicious, greasy double-cheese and double-meat burger and toss it into our coffee.

Brilliant!
I was on my way out to get one right now.

Try to get a flavored creamer. My personal favorite is hazelnut. You can add a bunch of that, and it already has enough sugar for the coffee.

Another good alternative is to buy some instant cappucino mix as already mentioned, but put it in your coffee instead.

With either the mix or the creamer, you shouldn't need anything else in there.

You could also snag some coffee in the morning at work and refrigerate that for the next morning.

Coffee tasted like crap to me at first but it's one of those grow-on drugs. I go through with-draw if I don't have it in the morning.

After a month of drinking coffee, it will start tasting smoother.

Just like the Milwaukee Finest beer commericals, but instead a giant coffee mug drops on him.

Good quality coffee actually tastes great without any additives like sugar and cream, the price isn't really much more than the crap beans on store shelves.

This may sound like a really stupid question but my friend had an coffee maker at his house...its a small one.

How many spoonfulls should I put in and how much water. I know I should know how to make coffee but I've never had to.

I use a 1/4 messuring cup. The back of the can will give you a guide though.

I would say for one cup no more than 2 scoops.

You might get used to it,.I didn't drink coffee until I was 22, then started drinking it black and quickly moved onto espressos.

I always have something sweet with my black coffe. I make plain white cake cupcakes sometimes or cinnamon rolls, Twinkies, donuts, etc. I like black coffe and never doctor it up but the sweet treats make a nice accompaniment. Try it you'll like it.
