Coffee drinkers: what brand coffeemaker do you use?

Asking because I'm considering buying a rather expensive stainless-steel finish Cuisinart model. About 10 years ago I had a very expensive Krups cappuccino maker that died on me after just a couple of months, I was not happy to say the least...

I use a single cup B&D (Black and Decker) which I make my morning cup of freshly ground beans with. Not exactly high end, but the use of Coffee Beans makes a great cup of cofee. 🙂

We're on our second Bunn coffeemaker since we got married in 1978. First one is actually still working, but pretty full of lime. Brews 10 cups of perfect coffee in just 3 minutes. What else is there to say?

Have a Black & Decker, cost $14. We make 2 or 3 pots a day, have had it for over 2 years and it works fine. Usually we end up breaking the carafe before the coffeemaker dies and it's only a couple of bucks more to get a new coffee maker than to replace just the carafe.

We have friends who have a $100 Bunn, and their coffee tastes no different than ours.

just picked up a Prezzione espresso machine on Ebay retails for $200, got it for $75. I am quite happy with it.

For people who would pay an extra $100.00 for a video card that gets an extra few frames per second, I'd think a whole pot in 3 minutes would be a no brainer!

Coffee drinkers: what brand coffeemaker do you use?

A better question might be, what brand coffee maker does your local coffee house or restaurant use?

I have a Melitta espresso machine. Used to know the model number and don't feel like getting up at the moment. As far as buying yourself a coffee maker I'd suggest looking at Costco. Locations can be found here. The Gold Star and Business memberships are $45 a year and shopping at Costco is most definitely worth it. I am a seasonal employee at the Mesa, AZ Costco and I was looking through the ads this weekend and our regular price for certain coffee machines was lower than many of the sale prices. Good luck.
